Nokia 3310 was released in 2000. Phone was successor to Nokia 3210. It had for example support for more either downloaded or composed ringtones than Nokia 3210. Also it had support for screensavers. Screensavers were 2 color bitmaps that were sent as Nokia Picture Messages via Short Messaging Service. Phone used same Navi-key as Nokia 3210. Navi key was meant to make use phone easier by simplifying some of the functions.

Nokia 3330 was improved 3310 released in 2001. It  had one new game (bumper), animated screensavers, WAP-browser and ability to download new levels into games from Club Nokia. Phone WAP-browser connected network using circuit swithced data at 2400bps. Different between circuit switched connect and later used packet switched connection (for example GSM) was that phone ethalibished connection by calling and connectionb was open all the time. whereas in packet switched data was transmitted as packet. For this reason CSD was also expensive to use since connection was charged per minute even no data was transmitted.

3310 is very good durability and usability wise. It near indestructubility is not just rumor, device plastic is very high quality and durable compared many other phones. Battery has lasted 1.5 week as best with this phone,

3330 adds few new good features into already good phone. For example animated screensavers. I cant review WAP-Browser because even though WAP-Pages still exist I have not found any provider that offers CSD connection or method to host my own CSD server. If someone got information hwo could I get it online please Email me, because it would be nice to show and preview this feature as well.

Only thing I wish this phone had was selective ringing for calls. This feature was already in Nokia 6110/6150 phones. This feature is nice since with it I can for example during night I can filter calls only from numbers I know will only call during night in case of emergency. There is workaround for this though>take one of profiles and name it for example "priority". Set profile ringing "normal" and ringtone to one of empty custom ringtones. After this assiocate ringtone to all contacts who you wish to phone to ring from while profile is active.
